Auto campaign
An Amazon Sponsored Products campaign using automatic targeting. Amazon matches the advertised product to relevant searches and products.
An Amazon Sponsored Products auto campaign uses automatic targeting. Amazon matches the advertised product to searches and products through four groups: close match, loose match, substitutes, and complements. Sellers still choose budgets, bidding strategy and targeting bids. Automatic targeting does not mean automatic profitability.
Use auto campaigns to test discovery within a budget you can justify. Review the actual search terms and product matches; some can become candidates for more explicit targeting, while others may need a lower bid or a carefully scoped negative. An inefficient campaign is not obliged to stay running merely because it is a discovery campaign.
AutoPPC is a separate software product from AutoPPC Inc.; an auto campaign is an Amazon targeting type. AutoPPC can analyze automatic and manual Sponsored Products campaigns in its supported US/Canada workflow. See what AutoPPC does and harvesting search terms.
